Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using Blind Companion (the "App"),
developed by Proxie Studio. By downloading, installing, or using the App on iOS or Android, you
agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are a parent or guardian allowing a minor to use the App, you accept these Terms on their
behalf and are responsible for their use of the App.
This document also serves as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the App as
distributed through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

1. Acceptance of Terms
   By creating an account or using the App on any platform, you confirm that you have read and
   agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Users under the age of 13 must have a parent or
   guardian review and accept these Terms on their behalf.
   If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use the App.

2. License Grant
   Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Proxie Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive,
   non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on compatible iOS or Android
   devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
   You may not:
   • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App.
   • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
   • Rent, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the App or your rights to it.
   • Remove or alter any proprietary notices within the App.
   • Use the App to build a competing product or service.

3. App Description and Functionality

Blind Companion is an AI-powered visual assistant that helps users understand their
surroundings. The App works identically on iOS and Android and provides the following
features:
• Camera capture — Takes images using your device camera for AI-powered visual
analysis.
• Speech-to-Text (STT) — Records your spoken queries and converts them to text using
platform STT services.
• AI Analysis — Sends images and text to Google's Gemini API to generate descriptive,
helpful responses.
• Text-to-Speech (TTS) — Reads AI responses aloud using your device's built-in TTS
engine.
AI-generated responses are provided for informational and assistive purposes only. Do not rely
on them as a substitute for professional advice of any kind (medical, legal, financial, or
otherwise).
A subscription is required to access AI-powered features. Basic account creation is free.

4. User Accounts
   To access the App's features, you must create an account using your name and email address.
   You are responsible for:
   • Keeping your account credentials confidential.
   • All activity that occurs under your account.
   • Notifying Proxie Studio immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
   We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in
   fraudulent activity, regardless of the platform used.

5. Subscriptions and Billing
   5.1 Subscription Plans and Pricing
   Blind Companion offers auto-renewing subscription plans managed through RevenueCat,
   available on both iOS and Android:
   • Monthly Subscription — billed once per month.
   • Annual Subscription — billed once per year (may be offered at a discounted rate).
   The price for each plan is clearly displayed on the subscription screen within the App before you
   confirm any purchase. Prices are shown in your local App Store or Google Play currency and
   may vary by region.
   Subscriptions are billed through:
   • Apple App Store — for iOS users.
   • Google Play Store — for Android users.
   5.2 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be
automatically charged the applicable subscription fee. You can cancel at any time through your
Apple ID settings (iOS) or Google Play account settings (Android).
5.3 Auto-Renewal and Cancellation
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the
current billing period. To cancel:
• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Blind Companion → Cancel
Subscription.
• Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions →
Blind Companion → Cancel.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to premium
features until that date.
5.4 Refunds
All purchases are final. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple (iOS) or Google
(Android) through your respective account. Proxie Studio does not process refunds
independently.
5.5 Price Changes
We may change subscription pricing at any time. You will be notified in advance via the App or
your registered email. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new
pricing.

6. Platform-Specific Permissions
   6.1 iOS
   The App requests camera, microphone, and speech recognition permissions on iOS. You may
   revoke permissions at any time via Settings → Blind Companion on your device. Revoking a
   permission disables the related feature.
   6.2 Android
   The App requests CAMERA, RECORD_AUDIO, and INTERNET permissions on Android. You
   may revoke permissions at any time via Settings → Apps → Blind Companion → Permissions.
   Revoking a permission disables the related feature.

7. Account Deletion
   You may delete your account at any time, on either platform, directly within the App:
   Profile → Delete Account
   No email, phone call, or external website is required. The entire deletion process is completed
   inside the App and works identically on iOS and Android.
   Upon confirmation of deletion:

• Your name, email address, and all account data are permanently and immediately
deleted from our systems.
• There is no grace period — data removal is instant and permanent.
• All subscription entitlements are immediately revoked across both platforms.
Important: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Cancel
separately through Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) to stop future billing.

8. Acceptable Use
   You agree to use Blind Companion only for lawful purposes. You must not:
   • Capture or process images of individuals without their knowledge or consent.
   • Use the App to generate, transmit, or distribute harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
   • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or infrastructure.
   • Circumvent any security or access control feature of the App.
   • Use the App in any way that violates the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play
   Store.
   Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising use of the App by minors in their care.

9. Intellectual Property
   All content, code, graphics, and design of Blind Companion are owned by Proxie Studio or our
   licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or
   use any part of the App without our express written permission.
   You retain ownership of any images or content you submit through the App. By using the App,
   you grant Proxie Studio a limited, real-time license to process your content solely for the
   purpose of generating AI responses. This license is not retained after processing is complete.

10. Third-Party Services
    The App integrates with Google Gemini API, Supabase, RevenueCat, the Apple App Store, and
    the Google Play Store. Your use of these services is governed by their own terms and privacy
    policies. Proxie Studio is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or data practices of any
    third-party service.

11. Disclaimers
    BLIND COMPANION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES
    OF ANY KIND. PROXIE STUDIO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE
    UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED RESPONSES WILL BE
    ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

AI responses are generated by Google Gemini and are intended for general assistive use only.
Proxie Studio is not liable for decisions made based on AI output.

12. Limitation of Liability
    TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PROXIE STUDIO SHALL
    NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL
    DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP ON ANY PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL
    LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL SUBSCRIPTION FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12
    MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

13. Termination
    Proxie Studio may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated
    these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately on all platforms.
    Sections 9, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of Delhi, India. Any disputes shall be subject to the
    exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India.

15. Apple App Store — Additional EULA Terms
    As required by Apple for apps distributed through the App Store, the following terms apply to
    iOS users:
    • This Agreement is between you and Proxie Studio only. Apple is not a party to this
    Agreement and bears no responsibility for the App or its content.
    • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or warranty services for Blind
    Companion.
    • If the App fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will
    refund your purchase price (if any). Beyond that, Apple has no other warranty
    obligations.
    • Apple is not responsible for any product liability, consumer protection, or intellectual
    property infringement claims related to the App.
    • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and have the
    right to enforce it against you.

16. Google Play Store — Additional Terms

As required by Google for apps distributed through the Google Play Store, the following terms
apply to Android users:
• This Agreement is between you and Proxie Studio only. Google is not a party to this
Agreement and bears no responsibility for the App or its content.
• Google has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or warranty services for Blind
Companion.
• Google is not responsible for any product liability, consumer protection, or intellectual
property infringement claims related to the App.
• By installing the App from Google Play, you confirm that you are not located in a country
subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed on any U.S. Government prohibited
parties list.

17. Changes to These Terms
    We may update these Terms at any time. The "Effective Date" at the top reflects the latest
    revision. Your continued use of the App on any platform after changes are posted constitutes
    acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this document periodically.
